Cheeseheads: The Documentary

This posting is not fully in the same realm as most of our listings which generally target the many fun and exciting aspects of Wisconsin, but it is important to pay tribute to those who have honored our country (and Wisconsin) with their service to it (our father included).  Considering that the Medal Of Honor was given out today to Sgt. 1st Class Leroy Petry (though not a fellow cheesehead, he deserves recognition), it seems only fitting to honor many of those who went before him.

We came across the Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetary almost by accident while travelling south from Hayward.  It was such a beautiful and serene place just off Highway 53 near Spooner that we had to pull over and check it out, and now we want to share it with you…
