Google Pays Homage To Les Paul With A Killer Doodle
For the second time this year (the first being Harry Houdini on his birthday) Google is honoring a fellow Cheesehead of historic significance with their very own doodle on their birthday. Today Google paid homage to The Wirard of Waukasha, Wisconsin’s very own Les Paul on what would have been his 96th birthday. For that we say Happy Birthday to an inventor and musician from the greata state of Wisconsin who changed the face (or rather sound) of music forever.
Further, Google will be leaving the doodle up on the home page for another entire day (something they rarely ever do) so get to seeing it before it’s gone. “Due to popular demand, we’re leaving the Les Paul doodle up in the US for an extra day. Thanks for jamming with us!,” said a post on the official Google Twitter accounnt.
