I grew-up in Shawano, WI ( yes the sturgeon place ) and my cousin recently sent me your April/May 2015 edition of OW Mag.
Loved it! I liked that you covered various locations ( w/ map ) around the state and the photos are superb!
Being south of the Cheddar Curtain in Illinois we cherish news of Wisconsin. You would be surprised at the number of people in Northern Illinois who visit WI to vacation, visit, fish, go Up-North, hunt, etc., etc.

Thank you for the comments, Roger. I’ve heard many stories of and form Illinois people who have great love for Wisconsin (even Al Capone loved Hayward, which is where his hideout was).

You might want to look into adding Cedar Valley Cheese to your cheese list. It’s near Random Lake on Hwy 57

Thanks, I met them at the Wisconsin Cheese Festival in Madison this November. Just haven’t got around to updating all the travels I did the past three months. Great cheese, as seems always the case in traveling Wisconsin.
