Downtown Racine: Where Old Meets New Meets Old

Whereas many of the residential areas of Racine have a modern flair to them (especially the farther away from downtown you go), downtown Racine still holds an Old Wisconsin flavor all about it.  Racine is most well know for the S.C. Johnson building designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, was also the birthplace of legendary actor Fredrich March, and John Dillinger and his gang once robbed the American Bank & Trust on Main & 5th.  While we didn’t get a chance to see the entire city, here’s a sample of some of the interesting buildings downtown.
