Sturgeon Bay: The Jewel Of Door County
As a quick follow up to our Door County posting, here are some terrific shots of Sturgeon Bay, the center of Door County culture with its many painted Sturgeons about town (much like the painted steers in New Glarus), it’s Old Bridge, one of the few remaining iron bridges of its kind at the center of town, and the many marina’s through the bay area that give one the sense of being in a place all its own and apart from the rest of the world. This is a travelers dream, but make sure to go there in the summer because even then the weather rules the land so we can only imagine how cold the winters can be. We’ll let the pictures speak for themselves.
