A Hometown Reception
Things went quite well for our return to Cameron “Hometown” showing of the film. My best count was about 140 plus in attendance. Not bad for a small town in the Northwoods. People really enjoyed the film while snacking on Ellsworth cheese curds, Nuseke’s amazing bacon, Cheese Brothers cheese, and more.
We’d also like to thank other sponsors involved, including John from Mosaic Telecom for hosting the event, Don Johnson Auto Group for the Lexxy’s new ride, Northwoods Promotions for the Cheeseheads promo items (on sale soon), Harley Davidson of Rice Lake, Culver’s and most of all Joe and the staff at the Cameron School for not only hosting such a fun event.
Most importantly, we were able to raise nearly $500 for our “Cheeseheads For Libraries” drive from which we will be donating DVD copies of the film to every High School and Library in the state of Wisconsin. Now onto Eau Claire…
