“Cheeseheads” At The Rose Bowl 2011
It was a great game, especially for our Texas friend Craig who won our side bet, though we enjoyed it as well. Wisconsin could have pulled it off but for the missed field goal early on and the two point conversion, or lack thereof, at the end. Even so, we made it to the Rose Bowl which is reward enough as it gave all of us at “Cheeseheads: The Documentary” the opportunity to go shoot a bunch of cheeseheads in action for our film. And oh what a shoot it certainly was…
The tailgate was nothing short of awesome. We barely had to hold the camera up and people would go nuts for us with every Wisconsin or Badger slogan you could think of. They must have thought we were a news crew or something so we got an amazing amount of quality footage. We couldn’t have even faked with actors some of those shots we got as everyone was doing what fans do in typical cheesehead fashion for us.
Despite the Rose Bowl loss, our thanks go out to all of the Bucky Badger fans who participated in our shoot and to the entire Cheesehead Nation. Excerpts will be posted once we have them available. In the meantime, enjoy a few of our game day photos (more soon).
