Miss Wisconsin Wins 2012 Miss America In This Year Of The Cheesehead
As if two Rose Bowl appearences by the Wisconsin Badgers, a Super Bowl XLV win, the St. Norbert Mens Hockey Championship, the U.W. Badgers Womens Hockey Championship, the best season record in Packers history, the White House Christmas tree being from Wisconsin, and massive protests last year in Madison wasn’t enough to prove this is by far the most noteworthy YEAR OF THE CHEESEHEAD ever, we also can welcome to our list of major accomplishments Miss America Laura Kaeppler who was just crowned in Las Vegas tonight.
FYI, we were at most of the above events for the documentary. We also had the opportunity to meet Laura at the Packers-Chiefs PRE-Season game back on September 1st (2011) when she sang the national anthem. She’s a delightful woman and we congradulate her on making all of Wisconsin proud for the many things we know we should, even beyond the extensive list above. Ummm, maybe make mention of the UW Whitewater football acomplishments (back2back2back National D3 Champs AND 4th in 5 years AND 7th straight title game AND 45 consecutive victories!!!!
Or do we want to keep this incredible secret as Wisconsin’s best secret?
