Some might think a Cheesehead to be an odd type of cheese they've never heard of. A few might confuse it with head cheese, which is not even cheese at all. Still others might think it to simply be a typing error blending two unrelated words together to make a new word.
The real meaning of Cheesehead is much more complicated. There's the historical Cheesehead foam hat that made it trendy back in the 80's. There's also the legendary Green Bay Packers fans who willingly took the idea to heart and became euphemistically known as Cheeseheads, thus making it world famous in the 90's.
Today, Cheeseheads have become pop-culture icons. A Cheesehead is a state of mind as much as it is a euphemistic term for a Wisconsinite, or an adopted Packers fan. We proudly claim the name as a badge of honor, which is why we will do our best too serve the great state of Wisconsin and its millions of Cheeseheads with our feature documentary now in post-production.
